Bonaire.whimper whimper.I want to go! Historia Del Peru Contemporaneo Carlos Contreras Pdf Printer. The Helma Hooker is a nice dive from shore that we usally do once or twice each visit. A don't miss is one of the double reefs on the south end. Angle City and Alice in Wonderland which are just past the Hooker are really nice.
The first reef slopes to a 50 to 60 ft wide sand channel at about 60 ft and then rises back to about 40 ft in some neat coral heads that kind of look like big mushrooms (hince Alice in Wonderland). I also like Windsock which is at the end of the airport runway. Lots of trees to campout under between dives. Don't overlook the reef in frount of Cap Don's.
There is a cool wreck straight out from the dock. Nite dives are good off Cap Don's as well. Don't be suprised by Charlie, a 6 to 7 ft tarpon who loves to escort divers on nite dives in the area. He is big and un-nerving but friendly.
Oh yea, there is a book avalible at most of the dive shops called something like 'Bonaire diving made Easy' (figures my copy is not on my desk). It is a paperback and sells for about $10. It's describes all of the dive sites on Bonaire and how to get to them as well as rateing them for difficulty, a must have.
