Although LOstn6tz reports that Magellan will have a map update in June, I think 20 months is just too long when TomTom and Garmin seem to update quarterly. That is a 2007 Map, my base map 31 had a production date of 20080409 on the back of the SD card. I needed the 'Spring 2009' map update, base map 37. They wanted to charge me $10 for this update even though I bought my 1430 just yesterday and was told when I called Magellan before purchasing that it would come with the latest map version. Had to be fairly aggressive on the phone with customer service about honoring their map update, not too happy with Magellan so far. Their old 2007 version even completely wipes off the map my town, an incorporated municipality incorporated July 2006 but that has existed here unincorporated for 100 years. If the city doesn't exist, there's no way to enter an address and navigate to it unless you make zip code guesses. Make sure you get the current map update.
